KISHTWAR: In a commendable initiative to foster patriotism among the young students, the Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav today organized a free screening of the inspiring patriotic film "Chak De India" for students of Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Boys and GHSS Girls Kishtwar. This initiative, carried out in collaboration with the Kishtwar Development Authority, took place at the Picture Time theatre within the Tourist Reception Centre (TRC) Kishtwar.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from approximately 120 boys and 120 girls, who were accompanied by their respective escort teachers in two separate sessions. "Chak De India," a film that resonates with themes of unity, determination, and national pride, was chosen for its ability to inspire and instill a deep sense of patriotism in the students. The movie portrays the journey of a national hockey team and its coach, who overcome numerous challenges to bring glory to the nation. Through its compelling narrative, the film served as an ideal medium to rejuvenate the students' sense of responsibility and pride in their country.

The students expressed their gratitude to the district administration spearheaded by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav and the Kishtwar Development Authority for organizing such an event. They noted that the movie not only provided entertainment but also delivered a strong message about the importance of dedication, teamwork, and love for one's country. The screening was more than just a cinematic experience; it was a lesson in patriotism that left a lasting impact on the young viewers.

Dr. Rishi Kumar Sharma, CEO of Kishtwar Development Authority, played a pivotal role in the successful execution of this event. With his personal supervision during the screening sessions, Dr. Sharma ensured that the event ran smoothly and that the students were able to enjoy the movie in a comfortable and safe environment.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of such initiatives in shaping the minds of young students, stating that events like these are crucial in nurturing a sense of patriotism and national pride among the future leaders of the country. He also highlighted the role of cinema as a powerful tool for social change and education, capable of reaching the hearts and minds of people in a unique and impactful way.
