  • Says will advertise all vacant Govt posts for fast-track recruitment

SAMBA: Apni Party Provincial President, Jammu, and Former Minister, S. Manjit Singh has assured that if the Party comes to power in Jammu and Kashmir, a reservation policy for the local youth will be implemented in the industrial sectors of the erstwhile state.

As a part of the ongoing election campaign for the Legislative Assembly scheduled in Jammu and Kashmir, the Apni Party leaders continued their campaign in different areas of Samba District.

During these public meetings that was largely attended by the young generation, who were worried about their future in the absence of any policy from the political parties contesting in the LA polls, extended their support to the Apni Party for commitment to reserve jobs – skilled and unskilled – in the industrial sector of Jammu and Kashmir up to 90 %.

While assuring comprehensive policy for reservation of jobs in the industrial sector, and recruitment of all the vacant posts in the Govt Departments, the Former Minister said that the Apni Party is fully committed to bring positive changes in the lives of the people, especially the young generation.

ā€œThe young generation in the last several years have lost their hopes in the Govt policies, and many of them have become overaged as the authorities were unable to hold any fair recruitment process in Govt departments. Whatever the recruitment has taken place, all of them have come under scanner and allegations of scam surfaced,ā€ he added.

He said that the next Govt, if formed by the Apni Party, will hold a transparent and fair selection process and will ensure accountability of the recruitment agencies.

ā€œThese agencies have compromised the future of the young generation, compelling them to migrate to other states for labour work. Unfortunately, the highly skilled and educated youth are working on minimal wages for their survival in the absence of a proper road map to generate employment in the private sector, and continue year wise recruitment in Govt departments,ā€ he further stated.

Meanwhile, he also referred to the increase in drug addiction that has become a major threat to the younger generation, and authorities have failed to deal with the emerging situation.

In this situation, he said that the people should vote and support the Apni Party candidates in the scheduled Assembly Elections of Jammu and Kashmir for equitable development, employment, safeguard to the land, jobs, and resources in favour of the local population.
