  • ST Wing J&K President Saleem Alam holds meetings at various places

VIJAYPUR (SAMBA):  Apni Party Provincial President, Jammu, and Former Minister, who is contesting from Vijaypur Legislative Assembly Constituency of the Party, has held series of aggressive public meetings cross the constituency, in which he educated people about the equitable developmental policy. The Vijaypur constituency is among the backward districts where development has become a distant dream for the last ten years without an elected Govt.

“The LG Govt has failed to do justice with the people, and the people have complaints against the authorities, which hardly resolves their grievances,” he said, while asking the people to vote and support him in the scheduled elections of the legislative assembly. He said that if he gets elected as their representative to the legislative assembly of the Jammu and Kashmir, the development, and reservation of jobs for the local youth in Samba’s industrial units would be his priority.

“The towns, and villages have been badly affected with a poor phase of development without accountability. The wards, and villages have complaints about lack of cleanliness, scattered garbage, damaged lanes, and choked drains. Similarly, the condition of roads is also incommutable in the villages that need repair work, and widening work in many villages,” he said.

He also assured that the concerns of the farmers would also be addressed accordingly, while extending support to their demands. He said that if the Party forms the next Govt in J&K, it would ensure the protection of the land, resources, and jobs for the locals.

Meanwhile, he highlighted the welfare schemes of the Party including 500 units of free electricity in Jammu during summers, enhancement of pension up to Rs 5000, Rs 1 lakhs of marriage assistance of the girls from economically poor families, four cooking gas cylinders to each poor family under Ujjawala scheme, and regularization of the daily wagers.

He also extended his gratitude to the people for extending their support to him. Meanwhile, the State President of the J&K ST Wing of the Party, Choudhary Saleem Alam also addressed a series of public meetings in support of the Party’s candidate from Vijaypur i.e., S. Manjit Singh.
