JAMMU: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Kumar Vaishya chaired Block Diwas at Yatri Niwas, Kalyanpur Jhiri in block Marh today.  The event was marked with prominent participation of DDC Chairman Jammu Bharat Bhushan and DDC Vice Chairman Suraj Singh, among other officials and public representatives.

During the public meeting, several issues and grievances were raised by the attendees including the maintenance of power lines, provisions pertaining to ration cards, the development of lanes and drains, and the need for a playfield in the area.

DC Sachin Kumar Vaishya took meticulous note of all the grievances and concerns raised. He gave special consideration to border security suggestions put forth by the public. In a significant engagement, the DC met with representatives of a female-only Self Help Group, inquiring about their operations and assuring full support for their progress and growth.

Acknowledging the interrelation between power and water supply, the DC emphasised the importance of addressing these issues holistically.
