JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir BJP State General Secretary and former minister, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, while chairing a meeting of the SC morcha at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, said that the BJP would once again write new chapter by winning all the seven reserved seats for SCs in the assembly.

Dr. Manyal said that Jammu and Kashmir has seven seats in the assembly reserved for the SCs and hence the community has very decisive role in the victory of any political party. He said that in the last assembly elections, the BJP had the distinction of winning all the seven seats as the community was convinced that it was only BJP which had real concern for the welfare and upliftment of the SCs. He said that the claim of the party to win all these seats arises from the fact that the Modi government, during the last over ten years, has taken one decision after the other, which has taken care of the SCs and this community.

Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal also discussed the forthcoming programmes of the morcha and the visit of national leaders to the city of temples in coming days. He shared that BJP National General Secretary & National Prabhari of SC Morcha, Tarun Chugh, will chair meetings of the morcha on August 03 in view of the assembly elections to be held in near future in Jammu and Kashmir. The scheduled meetings would have the participation of large number of SC leaders, including office bearers in BJP, morcha office bearers, former MLAs, national office bearers, DDCs, former BDC Chairpersons, MC Presidents and councillors, district presidents etc.

SC Morcha President Neelam Langeh, former VC Balbir Ram Rattan, Morcha General Secretaries Gulshan Bhagat and Adarsh Jathiar, Secretary Rakesh Dev and Morcha Office Secretary Hans Raj Loria, attended this meeting.
