JAMMU: J&K BJP General Secretary Baldev Singh Billawaria and All Cells Coordinator Ved Sharma announced the Jammu South Border Cell team, presented by Border Cell Convenor Akash Chopra, with a focus on ensuring that residents of border areas receive the benefits of various schemes and welfare initiatives of the Government of India.

Baldev Singh Billawaria, addressing the newly constituted team, briefed the members about various Central Government schemes and initiatives aimed at supporting and empowering people living in border areas. He called upon the Border Cell team to work actively on the ground and ensure that the benefits of these schemes reach eligible beneficiaries without hindrance.

Billawaria stressed that the party's organizational teams in border areas must remain connected with the people and identify their genuine needs. He called upon the newly announced team members to work with dedication and ensure effective awareness and implementation of welfare schemes among border residents.

Ved Sharma welcomed Jammu South Border Cell Convenor Nitin Mahajan and the newly nominated team members. He urged the team to work with dedication, approach needy people directly and make sincere efforts to assist them in accessing government schemes and benefits.

Ved Sharma said that after the formation of the Modi government at the Centre, the situation in border areas has witnessed a significant change, with migration from border areas to towns having reduced as firing from across the border has stopped. He said that the improved situation has strengthened the confidence of border residents and created better conditions for development and normal life in these areas.

Akash Chopra assured the leadership that efforts would be made to constitute and strengthen the Border Cell teams in the remaining areas in the coming days. He said the teams would remain connected with border residents and work towards addressing their concerns and facilitating access to government welfare schemes.
