AWANTIPORA: Continuing its efforts under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan, Police in Awantipora organized a drug awareness programme at Ladhoo Market to educate the public about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of maintaining a drug-free society.

During the programme, members of the market association, local residents, shopkeepers, and youth actively participated. The participants were sensitized about the social, legal, and health related consequences of substance abuse and were urged to cooperate with Police in eradicating the menace of drugs from society. The programme concluded with an appeal to the public, especially the youth, to stay away from drugs and contribute towards building a safe and healthy community.
