SAMBA: Apprenticeship Mela was organized under the PMNAPS scheme at Government ITI Samba on 29th September 2025. The event saw enthusiastic participation, with more than one hundred prospective candidates and ten reputed companies attending. Prominent organizations such as ITI Limited and NJ Food Products (Coca Cola), Samba, were among the key participants.

The mela served as a valuable platform for industry–trainee interaction, with over fifteen trainees being shortlisted by participating companies for apprenticeship opportunities. Apprenticeship, a flagship scheme of the Government of India under the Apprentices Act, 1961, continues to play a vital role in enhancing youth employability and industry-ready skills.

On the same day, the first batch of training under Mission YUVA (Hybrid Module Course) was also successfully launched at Government ITI Samba. Mission YUVA is designed to empower youth with modern, industry-relevant skills through innovative hybrid training methods. The program provides trainees with:

  • Access to both classroom and digital learning resources.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and industry practices.
  • A platform to build confidence, communication, and entrepreneurial abilities.
