SOPORE: In continuation of the ongoing 100-day Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan, police in Sopore have further intensified awareness and enforcement activities across Police District Sopore.

A series of awareness programmes and outreach initiatives were organised at multiple locations in collaboration with the Education Department. Programmes were held in Seeloo and Panjipora Tarzoo (Sub Division Sopore), witnessing active participation from students, local residents, and other stakeholders. The awareness sessions and anti-drug rallies conducted at Seeloo and Panjipora Tarzoo remained interactive, with participants sharing their concerns and expressing strong support for sustained action against the drug menace.

Police, while continuing strong enforcement against drug trafficking, are simultaneously undertaking extensive awareness drives to address the issue at the societal level. Youth were encouraged to stay away from harmful influences and adopt a healthy, drug-free lifestyle, while the community was urged to actively support and strengthen the ongoing efforts.

Police reaffirmed their commitment to sustained awareness, community engagement and strict enforcement under the 100-day Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan to ensure a safer, healthier and drug-free society.
