JAMMU: J&K BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul chaired a review meeting of the Incharges and Co-Incharges of the “Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan” at BJP headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, and took detailed stock of preparations for the campaign’s 11 major programmes.
Lok Sabha MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, Rajya Sabha MP Er. Ghulam Ali Khatana, former Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh, Vice-Presidents Priya Sethi, Rakesh Mahajan and Rekha Mahajan, General Secretary and Abhiyan Incharge Gopal Mahajan, Secretaries Reema Padha, Arun Sharma and Pawan Sharma, OBC Morcha President Brahmjyot Satti, Mahila Morcha President Neha Mahajan, Kisan Morcha President Rakesh Pant, and other senior leaders participated in the meeting.
Ashok Koul said that Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan is not merely a series of programmes to celebrate the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but a structured movement to strengthen the spirit of service, responsibility and national commitment among party workers and society at large. He stressed that the commitment shown by PM Modi during the 25 years as a CM and PM to serve the nation and society stands as a beacon to everyone. He directed all Incharges and Co-Incharges to ensure that the campaign reaches every village, Panchayat and booth, with workers maintaining direct engagement with the people.
Jugal Kishore Sharma called upon BJP workers to transform the campaign into a powerful grassroots movement. He particularly emphasized blood donation camps, stating that voluntary blood donation is one of the noblest forms of service as it directly helps save precious lives. He urged maximum participation of workers and citizens across Jammu & Kashmir.
Er. Ghulam Ali Khatana said that every activity under the campaign must reflect the BJP’s commitment to sewa, social responsibility and inclusive development. He urged functionaries to involve all sections of society and communicate the achievements of the Modi government while motivating people to contribute towards nation-building.
Dr. Nirmal Singh said that the Abhiyan should carry the message of “Seva se Sankalp, Sankalp se Viksit Bharat” to every section of society. He stressed that the programmes should create a lasting sense of duty towards the nation rather than remain confined to ceremonial events.
Gopal Mahajan reviewed preparations programme-wise and directed functionaries to ensure effective execution on the ground. He emphasized that “Aashirwad Ka Diya” on September 17, marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, should reach every household and grassroots unit. He also reviewed preparations for the Sewa Jyoti Yatra on October 7 across villages and called for a collective Sankalp for Viksit Bharat through all campaign activities.
