BARAMULLA: In connection with the 608th Urs-e-Shareef of Hazrat Syed Janbaz Wali (RA) at Khanpora, Baramulla, comprehensive security arrangements were put in place to ensure the safe and peaceful conduct of the religious occasion.

Security measures remained in place from 0500 hours to 2130 hours, particularly during all five daily prayers and around the venue where the 608-year-old Holy Tabarrukaat of Hazrat Syed Janbaz Wali (RA) were displayed for devotees.

Adequate deployment comprising men and women police officials, 03 CRPF sections, and access control teams was put in place for crowd regulation, smooth movement of devotees and continuous monitoring. During the course of the event, approximately 2,500 devotees visited the venue.
