RAMBAN: District Administration Ramban, led by Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Alyas Khan, today organized a series of events across the district as part of the week-long Vande Mataram campaign to pay rich tributes to the national heroes Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar and Shivaram Rajguru, who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the nation.
As part of the campaign, a Vande Mataram Signature Campaign was conducted in all schools, colleges, government offices, and other institutions across Ramban district. Special Signature Walls were established at these institutions to encourage participation and promote a sense of patriotism and collective remembrance.
Officers, teachers, staff members, and students enthusiastically participated in the campaign by signing the walls as a mark of respect and gratitude towards the martyrs. Participants also took selfies with their signatures as part of the Vande Mataram 150 celebrations, capturing their involvement in this nationwide initiative.
The photographs and videos of the activities were uploaded on the designated portal, ensuring wider outreach and digital documentation of the campaign. The initiative witnessed overwhelming participation, reflecting the strong patriotic spirit and unity among the people of Ramban.
