GANDERBAL: As part of the “Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir”, Police in Ganderbal, in collaboration with the Excise Department conducted a joint drive against the cultivation and growth of wild cannabis (Bhang) at Narayanbagh & it’s adjacent areas, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Post Shadipora.
During the drive, teams carried out an extensive search and destroyed wild Bhang plants growing at various spots, thereby preventing their potential use for the preparation of illicit narcotic substances. The joint action reflects the commitment of J&K Police and the Excise Department towards curbing the menace of drugs and safeguarding the younger generation from substance abuse.
J&K Police reiterated its resolve to continue such proactive enforcement and preventive measures against narcotic substances across the district and urged the public to extend their cooperation in making Jammu & Kashmir Nasha Mukt.
