JAMMU: Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir, held an organizational meeting at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, to discuss forthcoming programmes and strengthen preparations at the booth and district levels across Jammu & Kashmir.

J&K BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma chaired a party office bearers' meeting, accompanied by General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul, former Dy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh, General Secretaries Sanjita Dogra, Mohammad Anwar Khan, and Gopal Mahajan. State office bearers, spokespersons, Morcha teams, district Prabharis, Presidents, and Seh-Prabharis, and other senior functionaries attended the meeting.

Sat Sharma, while addressing the meeting, emphasized that regular organizational meetings are essential for maintaining coordination, discipline, and effective execution of party programmes at every level. He said that the BJP, as a cadre-based and ideology-driven party, continuously evolves and strengthens itself through consistent interaction, training, and public outreach programmes.

Sharma held an in-depth discussion on the ongoing “Prashikshan Mahabhiyan” and stressed the importance of equipping party workers with ideological clarity, organizational skills, and public engagement capabilities. He also briefed the leaders about the forthcoming programmes, including “Mann Ki Baat”, International Yoga Day, “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”, and the observance of Balidan Diwas of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee on June 23 at the booth level. He said that Dr. Mookerjee’s sacrifice for the complete integration of Jammu & Kashmir with the nation remains a guiding inspiration for every BJP worker.

Laying special emphasis on the successful conduct of “Mann Ki Baat”, Sat Sharma asked all district presidents, district prabharis, seh-prabharis, Shakti Kendra teams, and booth-level workers to ensure maximum public participation and enthusiastic involvement in every programme. He said that the strength of the BJP lies in its booth-level structure and collective teamwork. Appreciating the dedicated efforts of party workers in successfully conducting recent programmes, he urged the cadre to work with renewed energy and commitment for the upcoming organizational activities.

Ashok Koul took detailed feedback regarding the functioning of Morchas, organizational meetings, and “Pravas” programmes from the respective presidents and senior leaders. He also reviewed the progress of the district-level “Prashikshan Abhiyan” and sought reports from speakers, district presidents, and district prabharis regarding its implementation.

Koul laid strong emphasis on systematic reporting and effective execution of “Mann Ki Baat” and other party programmes. He elaborately discussed the programmes being organized to mark the successful completion of 12 years of the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government has worked with commitment for the welfare of the poor, deprived, youth, women, and marginalized sections despite global challenges and international hostilities. He added that these 12 years symbolize “Jan Vishwas”, reflecting the growing trust of the people in the leadership, policies, and vision of the Modi government.

Dr. Nirmal Singh described the BJP as an ideology-based organization dedicated to national strengthening and global peace and prosperity. He said that organizational activities keep the party cadre ideologically connected and politically strong, which has enabled the BJP to serve the nation and society consistently over the decades.

Rajiv Charak, Vice-President, J&K BJP, also presented details regarding the “My Bharat Youth Volunteer Programme” aimed at promoting youth participation and sports development. Proceedings of the meeting were conducted by Gopal Mahajan.
