• People of West Bengal chose development over fear and misgovernance: Ashok Koul

SRINAGAR: J&K BJP led by its General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul celebrated the oath-taking ceremony of the newly formed BJP Government in West Bengal at Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar, terming it a historic mandate for development, peace, security, and good governance in the eastern state.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from party leaders and workers who distributed sweets, and congratulated the BJP leadership, expressing confidence that the new government would usher in a new era of progress and stability in West Bengal.

J&K BJP Secretary Arif Raja, party Spokespersons Altaf Thakur, Er. Sahil Bashir, Danish Bhat, and other senior leaders were also present on the occasion. Ashok Koul, while addressing the party leaders, said that the formation of the BJP Government in West Bengal marks the victory of democracy, nationalism, and the aspirations of the common people who had long suffered due to corruption, political violence, appeasement, and misgovernance.

Koul said that the people of West Bengal have voted decisively for change and have rejected the politics of fear and instability. This is a decisive move from jungle-raj to development-oriented governance. The BJP Government will work for every section of society without discrimination and ensure peace, security, transparency, and equal opportunities for all, Ashok Koul said.

Koul expressed confidence that under the leadership of the BJP, West Bengal would witness rapid infrastructural growth, employment generation, industrial progress, women empowerment, and improved law and order. He said the BJP’s governance model, guided by the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, focuses on inclusive development and welfare for the poor, youth, farmers, women, and marginalized communities.

Congratulating the people of West Bengal for supporting the BJP, Ashok Koul said that the mandate reflects the growing trust of citizens in the policies and leadership of the party across the country.
