DODA: On the directions of District Commissioner Harvinder Singh and over all supervision of DSWO Tariq Qazi, Sankalp Hub for Empowerment of Women (HEW) organised events on the theme of Bal Vivah Mukt Bharat. The events, held at Girls Hostel GHSS Doda and Degree College Bhaderwah, featured a blend of artistic and interactive activities to engage students and create a lasting impact.

At GHSS Girls Hostel, the Gender Specialist Humerah Balwan, organized impactful awareness campaigns on the eradication of child marriage. The program included debates, drawing competitions, and a dance performance illustrating the consequences of child marriage. Humerah Balwan emphasized the artistic expression to leave a profound impression on the participants' minds. An interactive session allowed students to share their perspectives, fostering an open dialogue to mold their opinions on the issue.

The event followed a comprehensive approach, with active participation from the One Stop Centre (OSC) and Child Helpline (CHL). Participants from both venues took a solemn pledge to work towards eradicating and preventing child marriage in their communities.

Similarly, at Degree College Bhaderwah, the event followed a comprehensive approach, with active participation. These events, organized by Sankalp HEW, showcased the collective efforts of the district's social welfare entities to empower youth, spread awareness, and uphold children's rights. A step towards attaining the goal of Bal vivah mukth Bharat.
