JAMMU: In a solemn yet spiritually uplifting ceremony held today, a Special Mangal Yagya was performed to honor the devotees who tragically lost their lives in the 2025 calamities at Machail Chashoti, Vaishno Devi Katra, and Manimahesh.

The sacred ritual was conducted under the divine guidance and supervision of Spiritual Guru Jyotishacharya Dr. Shiv Parsad Raina and Swami Kamlesha Nand Ji Maharaj, with active participation from scholars and students of Maharaja Partap Singh Ved Vidyalaya, Ved Mandir, Jammu.

The program commenced with Sarva Mangal Paath, followed by the Special Mangal Yagya dedicated to the martyrs of faith. The ceremony concluded with a Havan, after which an all-night Jagran was organized, featuring soulful bhajans and devotional renditions by eminent musicians and singers from the Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory and neighboring states.

Speaking on the occasion, Suneet Raina, Chairman, Shree Chandi Mata Sewa Samiti, stated:  “This sacred Yagya was performed to invoke divine blessings for the eternal peace of the departed souls and to offer solace to their grieving families. We pray that the divine grace of Maa Chandi and the Almighty brings strength and serenity to all those affected by these tragedies.”

The organizers extended a heartfelt invitation to all devotees, spiritual seekers, and well-wishers to join this solemn gathering, either in person or in spirit, to collectively pray for peace, healing, and divine protection for all pilgrims.

The event underscored the enduring faith and resilience of the devotee community while reinforcing the spiritual bond that unites them in times of sorrow and remembrance.
