JAMMU: J&K BJP President Sat Sharma (CA), along with MLA Jammu East Yudhvir Sethi, inaugurated a Dispensary and Physiotherapy Clinic at the Home for the Aged and Infirm, Ambphalla, Jammu.

The facilities have been set up by Savitri Devi Jagiri Lal Trust, under the guidance of its trustee and Managing Director, Ram Swaroop Gupta, with the aim of providing free-of-cost treatment to needy patients. The Home for the Aged and Infirm has extended space to the Trust for establishing these services.

Addressing the gathering after the inauguration, Sat Sharma said that this noble initiative will go a long way in serving the poor and underprivileged sections of society. He said that healthcare has always been a prime concern for the marginalized, and initiatives like these reflect the spirit of service to humanity.

He said that the trust has set an example by ensuring free medical aid to those who cannot afford expensive treatments. He further said that the BJP remains fully committed to supporting such community-driven welfare efforts which align with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of accessible healthcare for all.

Sat Sharma also emphasized that the BJP-led government has launched multiple health initiatives such as Ayushman Bharat and Jan Aushadhi Kendras to make quality healthcare affordable and accessible. This effort by Savitri Devi Jagiri Lal Trust complements Modi government schemes and strengthens the healthcare ecosystem at the grassroots.

Yudhvir Sethi, while speaking on the occasion, lauded the Trust for its commitment towards social service. He said that opening of the Dispensary and Physiotherapy Clinic in collaboration with the Home for the Aged and Infirm is a much-needed step that will benefit not only the residents here but also the needy from surrounding areas. He said that such efforts reaffirm our collective responsibility towards the elderly, the poor, and the physically challenged.

J&K BJP Secretary Arun Sharma, District Jammu President Adv. Rajesh Gupta, Sunit Raina, Ravi Kant, Nidhi Magotra, and several other prominent personalities were also present during the inauguration ceremony.
