SRINAGAR: As part of its ongoing Civic Action Programme, Police in Baramulla organized a district-level Cricket Tournament to promote youth engagement and strengthen police-public relations. The event also saw the presence of SP (Ops) Shri Feroz Yahya, SDPO Tangmarg, and all SHOs of sub division Tangmarg, highlighting the strong support and active involvement of the district police leadership.

The tournament was aimed at encouraging the youth to engage in constructive activities, showcase their sporting talent and spread awareness against drug abuse. The initiative also served as a platform to foster unity, teamwork, and positive interaction between the police and the community.

Many attendees expressed hope for similar initiatives in the future. J&K Police remains steadfast in its commitment to promoting community-oriented policing through continuous public engagement and youth-centric programmes.
