A joint market checking drive was conducted at Achabal and Reban Markets by Sopore Police along with the Naib Tehsildar Watergam. During the inspection, several shopkeepers were found violating trade norms, including non-display of rate lists and unhygienic practices. On-spot fines were imposed on the violators and a total fine of ₹2600 was realized.

Another joint checking drive was carried out at Warpora Market by J&K Police along with the Tehsildar Dangerpora. The team inspected essential commodity outlets, mutton shops, and provisional stores. Several shopkeepers were found violating government-notified rates and other regulations and were fined on the spot.

Similarly, a joint market checking drive was conducted at Main Market Dangiwacha by J&K Police along with the Naib Tehsildar Dangiwacha and Tehsil Supply Officer Dangiwacha. During the inspection, expired food items and other unfit commodities were seized and destroyed on the spot in the presence of the checking team.
