• Prog. aimed fostering awareness and commitment towards a drug-free society

KUPWARA: As part of the ongoing campaign across the district and in line with the directions issued by the Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, IEC Nasha Mukht programme was successfully held across various educational institutions in the district. The campaign was conducted under the supervision of District Education Planning Officer (DEPO) and Nodal Officer for Nasha Mukht Abhiyaan.

The programme aimed to educate students about the harmful effects of substance abuse, highlighting its severe impact on health, society, and personal development. During the programme, emphasis was laid on adopting a drug-free lifestyle, encouraging students to embrace positive habits that foster mental well-being and physical fitness.

The initiative underscores the administration’s commitment to tackling substance abuse at the grassroots level, fostering a safer and more conscious community. This initiative marks a vital step towards building a healthier, more informed, and resilient generation, capable of leading the district towards a brighter, drug-free future.
