KATRA: Ms. Chakshu Gupta, D/o Mr. Rakesh Gupta and Mrs. Monika Gupta, R/o Udhampur, Jammu & Kashmir, has been declared qualified for the award of the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in English by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra, Jammu & Kashmir.
She has worked on the topic “Posthumanist Performativity: A Diffractive Reading of Indian Speculative Fiction” under the supervision of Dr. Isha Malhotra, Assistant Professor, School of Languages and Literature, SMVDU.
Ms. Chakshu has published several research papers in Q1-ranked SCOPUS-indexed journals, published by renowned international academic publishers such as Taylor & Francis, Routledge, and BMJ Group, and presented her research at various national and international conferences.
The scholar expressed her sincere gratitude to her family and PhD supervisor for their invaluable guidance and constant support, as well as to the School of Languages and Literature, SMVDU, for providing the necessary academic facilities and research environment throughout her doctoral journey.
