The program was convened by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Baramulla, Syed Altaf Hussain Musvi, who is also the District Nodal Officer for Mission Yuva.

In his address, ADC underlined the importance of Mission YUVA in shaping the entrepreneurial and skill development landscape of the youth, and urged the Nodal Officers to ensure meaningful awareness among students to achieve maximum participation.

Assistant Director Employment Baramulla, Rahil Amin also spoke on the occasion, highlighting the need for sustained efforts in building digital capacities among youth. He underlined the role of Mission YUVA in creating new opportunities of growth, innovation, and empowerment for students and institutions alike.

A total of 14 designated Nodal Officers from Government Degree Colleges, Polytechnic Colleges, and Industrial Training Institutes of the district attended the orientation. The participants assured full commitment towards implementing the program across 18 educational institutions in Baramulla, reflecting a highly enthusiastic response.

The Udyam Jagriti 4.0 campaign focuses on capacity building and digital skill enhancement of youth in Jammu and Kashmir. This phase specifically targets students and faculty of ITIs, Polytechnics, and Colleges (Government and Private) to boost awareness and adoption of sector-specific online skill modules available on the Mission YUVA Mobile App.

The integration of these modules into academic and training schedules, along with grades and assessments, is expected to incentivize participation. The campaign will also act as a pilot to assess effectiveness, learner engagement, and overall impact on youth empowerment in the district.
