RAJOURI: Under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma, a series of awareness camps/sessions were held under Mission YUVA Udyam Jagriti 4.0 across various Colleges and Industrial Training Institutes of the district, besides at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU).

The primary objective of these awareness programmes was to sensitize college students about Mission YUVA, its features, schemes and benefits. Mission YUVA Nodal Officers of Educational Institutions, serving as resource persons, delivered comprehensive presentations and interactive sessions to a large number of students regarding Mission YUVA.

The students were familiarized with the Mission YUVA and its mobile application, which was downloaded by many participants. A detailed walk-through of the different skill development modules was also conducted, enabling students to explore various resources available for enhancing their entrepreneurial and technical skills.

The Heads of Institutions and senior faculty members were also present in many institutions, underscoring the importance of this initiative. Additionally, senior officers of the district administration, including Additional Deputy Commissioners (ADCs), Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDM) and District Officers attended the programmes in the Educational Institutions of their respective areas.

The Udyam Jagriti programme aims to spread awareness among college and ITI students about Mission YUVA and foster a culture of entrepreneurship in the district. The initiative is expected to empower students with the knowledge and necessary skills to pursue entrepreneurial ventures.
