SRINAGAR: Khwaja Farooq Renzushah, Chief Commissioner of Jammu & Kashmir Scouts and Hindustan Scouts, graced the prestigious annual day function of Delhi Wonderland School as the Chief Guest today, held at the iconic Tagore Hall. The event showcased an impressive array of cultural and artistic performances by students from the Alpha and Zoomer Generations, skillfully curated by Dr. Rouvisa Jeelani and her talented team.

The event saw a vibrant assembly of educators, cultural leaders, and dedicated parents, including Dr. Kharul Niss, head of the Child Welfare Constitutional Body, Ms. Nuzhat ul Nisa, Mohammad Tariq Shera, head of Angels Cultural Academy, Waseem Sahib, chief of Martial Arts associated with Sqay & Taekwondo International, and many other distinguished members of the Kashmiri community.

In his address, Khwaja Renzushah spoke passionately about the rich tapestry of Kashmir’s history, emphasizing the importance of reviving its age-old glory through the principles of Renaissance, composite culture, and harmonious education. He highlighted that during the 14th century, Kashmir was saved from Mongolian devastation due to the valor of figures such as Begum Sultana Kota Rani and Padmasambhava Sultan Renchanshah, under the spiritual guidance of Hazrat Abdul Rahman Bulbulshah. This unity among Muslims, Hindus, and Buddhists was crucial in preserving Kashmir's civilization and culture.

Renzushah remarked, ā€œKashmir is a name synonymous with knowledge, Renaissance, and unity that has thrived for the last 5,000 years.ā€ He urged everyone to protect the region's rich heritage and strive to restore its esteemed image through art, literature, and cultural dialogue.

As a token of appreciation, Khwaja Renzushah was honored with a trophy by Dr. Rouvisa Jeelani, recognizing his esteemed contributions to the community. The event was a remarkable celebration of Kashmir's rich cultural legacy, fostering a spirit of unity and creative expression among the youth, particularly the new budding Zoomer & Alpha generations.
