BARAMULLA: As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, J&K Police in Baramulla organised a massive Anti-Drug Awareness Rally at Kreeri to spread awareness against the growing menace of drug abuse and to encourage collective action for a drug-free society.

The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of the Auto Union, Traders Association, school children, youth volunteers, and members of civil society, who joined hands to raise awareness about the harmful effects of narcotics and the importance of safeguarding the younger generation from drug addiction. Participants carried placards and raised slogans highlighting the need for social responsibility, community vigilance, and active public cooperation in combating drug abuse. The rally also aimed at educating the public about the serious social and health consequences associated with narcotics.

Police reiterated its commitment towards eradicating the drug menace and urged the public, especially youth, to actively support the anti-drug campaign by sharing information regarding drug peddling and promoting awareness at the grassroots level.
