GANDOH: As part of the ongoing Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar and Sewa Parv campaign, the Health Department, in collaboration with the Army organized a comprehensive health check-up camp at Village Kota in Medical Block Gandoh. The initiative aimed to strengthen community health, empower women and promote family well-being through accessible healthcare services.

The camp was organized under the guidance of Chief Medical Officer Dr. Om Kumar and the supervision of Block Medical Officer Dr. Farooq Saleem. A dedicated team comprising Dr. Kamran John (MO RBSK), Dr. Kanchan (MLHP) and Masooda Begum (FMPHW) worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the program.

More than 300 local residents were screened for various health conditions and provided free medicines. In addition to medical consultations, participants were imparted vital health education and awareness on hygiene, preventive care, and the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle.

The Health Department expressed gratitude to the Indian Army for their collaboration and to the local community for their active participation, which made the camp a meaningful contribution to both Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar and the spirit of Sewa Parv Celebration.
