SAMBA: The NSS Unit (KHIDMAT) Government Degree College Vijaypur, in collaboration with Eco-Club, organized cleanliness drive on the Campus as a part of the ongoing ‘Sewa Parv’. The drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, non-teaching staff and students who came together to clean the college campus and its surroundings, reaffirming their commitment to the ideals of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

The program began with a brief address by the Principal of the College Dr Ashu Vashisht, who highlighted the importance of cleanliness as not just a physical act but a civic responsibility. He also emphasized the relevance of such initiatives in inspiring youth to take active roles in nation-building and community development.

The NSS volunteers and students raised slogans promoting cleanliness and patriotism. They cleaned classrooms, corridors, gardens and nearby areas. Meanwhile, Career Counselling Cell of the College, in collaboration with Chitkara University, hosted a counselling session on “How to Crack Competitive Exams.” The resource person for the session was Kiran Kurwade, a career mentor with over 30 years of experience in diverse sectors.  Kurwade shared valuable insights into effective preparation strategies, time management techniques, and smart study methods for excelling in various competitive examinations. He emphasized the importance of consistency, self-discipline, and maintaining a positive mindset for achieving success.
