SRINAGAR: In connection with the upcoming National Legal Services Day to be observed on 9th November 2025, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Srinagar, organized an Awareness Programme on Consumer Protection and Cyber Laws at ADR Centre, District Court Complex Srinagar.

The programme was held under the chairmanship of Principal District & Sessions Judge, Srinagar, Tasleem Arief and under the supervision of Sub-Judge/Secretary, DLSA Srinagar, Sajad Ur Rehman.

The initiative aimed to sensitize the general public and Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) about their rights under the Consumer Protection Act and the legal safeguards available against cyber frauds and online offences. Panel Lawyers of DLSA Srinagar conducted the awareness sessions, highlighting the role of legal services institutions in providing free legal aid to those in need and in promoting access to justice for all.

The event was part of a series of awareness initiatives being organized in the run-up to National Legal Services Day 2025.
