SRINAGAR: The IRP 20th Battalion of Jammu and Kashmir Police recently organized a drug awareness camp and debate competition at Govt. Boys High School Singhpora, aiming to educate students from different schools about the dangers of drug abuse and encourage meaningful dialogue on the subject. Participants engaged in activities that promote teamwork, fair competition, and social responsibility, with rewards given to outstanding students to foster enthusiasm and learning.

The camp included various outreach activities such as painting competitions, educational support initiatives, and awareness campaigns on the harmful effects of substance abuse. The debate competition specifically focused on engaging young minds to be part of the solution against drug abuse, encouraging critical thinking and constructive conversation among students.

Additional educational support was provided through distribution of stationery and books, emphasizing community welfare and uplifting underprivileged students. These efforts were aligned with IRP 20th Battalion's broader Civic Action Programmes, which also include environmental initiatives and cleanliness drives for holistic community development.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from students across multiple schools, amplifying the message against drug abuse and the importance of healthy social practices. Jammu and Kashmir Police continues to organize such programs as part of ongoing efforts to address substance abuse, spread awareness, and offer support to affected youth and families in the region.
