  • This venture inspires youth, innovation and culinary excellence in Kashmir: Babar Chowdhary

SRINAGAR: The bustling flavors of Mumbai’s iconic street food have arrived in the Valley with the grand inauguration of Hat Trick Rajbagh in Srinagar. The launch event was led by young entrepreneur and Owner of Fashion Festa, Adnan Shah, who attended as the Chief Guest. The ceremony was graced by prominent dignitaries, including the Chowdhary Group—Chowdhary M. Showkat (Chairman), Babar Chowdhary (Managing Director) Shahwan Chowdhary (Director).

Other distinguished guests included RJ Rafiq of RED FM, Nasir Ali Khan (Chairman, Kashmir Road Safety Foundation), Kamran (Event Management), Salman (Film Industry), Irshad Anchari (District Youth President, NC), Ms. Deeba (Axis Bank), and Ms. Sana.

In his remarks, Showkat Chowdhary said, “Food has the power to unite communities. This venture will bring people together under one roof to celebrate diversity through flavors.” Babar Chowdhary described the initiative as a turning point for the city’s food culture “This is not just about serving Bombay street food; it’s about setting a benchmark in quality, hygiene and presentation. Srinagar deserves food experiences that match international standards and Hat Trick Rajbagh is a step in that direction.”

Speaking at the inauguration, Adnan Shah said, “Bombay street food is not just about taste, it’s about culture, connection and nostalgia. With Hat Trick Rajbagh, we wanted to bring that experience here in Kashmir, blending the charm of Mumbai with the warmth of Srinagar. This is more than food, it’s a bridge between two vibrant cities.”

Shahwan Chowdhary highlighted “The energy here reflects the spirit of Mumbai’s food streets, vibrant, youthful and dynamic. For Kashmir’s younger generation, this place is more than a food outlet, it’s a cultural hangout that connects them to the wider world.” Guests praised the effort for bringing Mumbai’s culinary vibrancy to Kashmir.

Nasir Ali Khan emphasized its social impact, noting that such ventures “create cultural exchange and generate local opportunities.” Irshad Anchari observed, “This reflects the progress of Kashmir’s hospitality sector.” Ms. Deeba called the menu “comfort food with a touch of nostalgia.”

Ms. Sana added, “It is the most authentic Mumbai street food experience I’ve had outside the city itself.” RJ Rafiq described the food as “Mumbai’s heartbeat served on a plate, flavorful, lively and unforgettable.” Salman likened the flavors to cinema, saying, “Every bite here has drama, spice and a happy ending.”

Kamran hailed it as “a well-executed launch with food and ambiance to match.” With the launch of Hat Trick Rajbagh, Srinagar now hosts a unique culinary bridge to Mumbai’s famed food culture. The initiative has been widely welcomed as a fresh addition to the city’s dining landscape, combining taste with cultural exchange.
