DODA: Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Doda Din Mohd. Afaqi today chaired a review meeting to assess the progress of ongoing development works being executed under Capex, MPLAD and CDF schemes in the district. The meeting was attended by Executive Engineer REW Doda Suresh Bharti, all Block Development Officers (BDOs), Assistant Executive Engineers (AEEs), Junior Engineers (JEs) and field staff of the Rural Development Department (RDD).

During the meeting, the ACD conducted a detailed review of the physical and financial progress of the ongoing works across different blocks. The concerned officers briefed the chair regarding the status of works, expenditure, site-level progress and issues, if any, affecting timely execution. The ACD stressed the need for close monitoring and effective coordination among field functionaries to ensure that development works are executed as per approved specifications and within the stipulated timelines.

The ACD further directed the concerned officers and contractors to complete all allotted works on or before September 30, 2026, without compromising on quality. He called for regular monitoring of progress at the block level and timely resolution of bottlenecks so that the benefits of the schemes reach the intended beneficiaries at the earliest.
