JAMMU: BJP J&K today criticized Pakistan, as the double standards of Pakistan were exposed once again during the US-Iran war. In a press statement issued today, Adv Parimoksh Seth, Spokesperson, BJP J&K, criticized Pakistan for its double standards in every field be it terrorism or playing role of mediator.
Seth said that Pakistan’s stance during the US-Iran conflict is contradictory, as Pakistan, on one hand, acted as a mediator between the U.S. and Iran during ceasefire efforts, while on the other hand, Iranian military aircraft were allowed to use Pakistani airbases during the conflict, and Iranian aircraft were parked at Noor Khan base of Pakistan.
Seth said that Pakistan has always been known for its double standard. Now, when Pakistan was supposed to act as a mediator between the US and Iran, it chose to go ahead with its hidden agenda, and was exposed once again when news of use of Pakistan’s air bases by Iran was exposed.
Seth said that the conduct of Pakistan is always doubtful since its creation, as Pakistan is the father of terrorism in the world. The news of the use of Pakistan’s air bases by Iran, when it should have acted with neutrality, has raised serious questions over Pakistan’s credibility, and the same has come under global scrutiny due to Continued Double Standards
Seth further said that Pakistan’s repeated contradictions in its statements and actions have once again raised serious questions about its credibility at the international level. While claiming to support peace and regional stability, Pakistan continues to promote narratives and activities that undermine harmony and trust in the region.
Seth said that Pakistan’s double standards regarding cross-border terrorism, misinformation campaigns, and attempts to disturb peace and actions not only damage regional cooperation but also expose Pakistan’s double standards before the world. Seth said that India remains firmly committed to peace, development, democracy, and stability in the region to bring peace in the region.
