BHADERWAH: The School of Management Studies, Bhaderwah Campus, University of Jammu organised a Financial Education Programme for Adults (FEPA) with the objective of promoting financial awareness among students, teaching faculty, and non-teaching staff.

The programme was organised under the guidance of Prof. Rahul Gupta, who appreciated the initiative and highlighted the importance of financial literacy in ensuring informed financial decision-making and protection against financial frauds.

The resource person, Mr. Sandeep Gupta, an experienced banking and financial expert and Empanelled Trainer with the National Centre for Financial Education (NCFE), delivered an insightful lecture on financial literacy, retirement planning, cyber frauds, digital financial safety, NPS, OPS, and various government schemes.

Earlier, Dr. Umesh Choudhary, In-charge Head, School of Management Studies, welcomed the participants and stressed the growing need for awareness regarding banking, investments, insurance, pension schemes, and cyber safety.

Among others present on the occasion were Dr. Kuljit Singh, Dr. Rohit Bhagat and Dr. Mohammed Avais besides faculty members of the department. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, staff, and students. Dr. Alyas Ahmad presented the formal vote of thanks and appreciated the efforts of all organisers and participants.
