SHOPIAN: Continuing its sustained efforts to combat drug abuse and safeguard the future of youth, J&K Police in Shopian organized a series of impactful awareness programmes under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyaan. Awareness sessions were conducted at Govt. Higher Secondary School Kanjiular, High School Landoora,UPS Mujpathri Keller and NIPS Zainapora along with a Nukkad Natak at Pinjoora Ground, engaging students and teaching staff in large numbers.

The programmes aimed to educate young minds about the harmful effects of drug abuse and inspire them to adopt a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. During the sessions, speakers highlighted the severe physical, psychological and social consequences of substance abuse, along with its legal implications. Students were encouraged to spread awareness and promote a drug-free environment in their communities.

J&K Police reiterated its commitment to continue such awareness drives under the ongoing 100 Days Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyaan, with the objective of building a safer and healthier society.
