JAMMU: Embracing the spirit of selfless service and community solidarity, a group of Kashmiri Pandit youth organized a refreshing Milk Roohafza Chabeel (free distribution of sweetened water) today on the auspicious occasion of Nirjala Ekadashi. The initiative, aimed at providing relief from the summer heat and offering a gesture of goodwill, took place near GMC Sarai, Bakshi Nagar Jammu.

The Chabeel was successfully organized by Sh. Muktesh Yogi, Sh. Ashutosh, and Dr. Rohit Koul, along with a dedicated team of enthusiastic volunteers from the Kashmiri Pandit community. They came together to serve chilled Milk Roohafza water to passersby, tourists and residents, offering a welcome respite on a day when many observe a strict fast without water.

Speaking about the initiative, Muktesh Yogi said"Nirjala Ekadashi is a day of deep devotion, and serving water to those observing the fast, or anyone in need, is considered a great act of charity. Mr. Ashutosh said It's heartening to see our Kashmiri Pandit youth is coming forward to uphold the Kashmiri Pandit values and are contributing positively to the community.

Dr. Rohit Koul added that the event highlighted the community's commitment to cultural traditions and humanitarian service, demonstrating unity and care for all. The organizers and volunteers received appreciation from the public for their thoughtful gesture.
