SRINAGAR: To ensure the successful organization of the National Integration NCC Camp in Srinagar, Divisional Commissioner (Div Com) Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, convened a meeting of officials on Thursday to assess the necessary arrangements for the event's effective execution.
The meeting witnessed the participation of the Director of Colleges, the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Srinagar, and representatives from relevant departments viz. School Education, Tourism, Floriculture, LCMA, SKICC, Sports Council, Archives, Archaeology & Museums, along with the Group Commander of NCC Srinagar.
At the outset, NCC officers provided an overview of the schedule for the various programs of the special National Integration Camp, which is set to take place from June 17 to June 28, with 330 participants from across the nation expected to attend.
Addressing the meeting, Div Com instructed the officers to ensure seamless execution of the event. He directed the Floriculture department to facilitate the entry of Cadets into Mughal Gardens during their visit to explore the renowned parks.
Archives, Archaeology & Museums department was tasked with assisting visitors at the SPS Museum during their visit and providing information about the available artifacts.
Participants of the National Integration NCC camp will also take part in a large yoga event at SKICC, Srinagar on June 21st. Div Com also issued necessary instructions to ensure the smooth movement of vehicles during their excursions to various tourist destinations, including Gulmarg and Sonmarg.
