DODA: The first meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) on Mission YUVA was held here today. Chaired by District Development Commissioner Harvinder Singh, the meeting was convened to review and approve applications received under the Mission YUVA scheme by Small Business Development Units (SBDU)s and assess the processing of those(Applications) being forwarded by Business Help Desks.
The meeting was attended by ADC, General Manager DIC, DSEO DodaAssistant Director Employment, District Nodal Officer JKEDI, District Development Manager NABARD, and other concerned officers.
A total of 10 cases, verified by SBDU, were placed before the committee for consideration and all were approved for financial assistance and handholding support under Mission YUVA. The Committee conducted detailed scrutiny of each application to verify eligibility, assess business viability and the socio-economic background of the applicants.
Later, a virtual meeting with BHDs headed by ADC Bhaderwah SDMs Gandoh, Thathri Assar, ACR Doda and all Yuva Doots was conducted. The chairman issued necessary instructions urging the stakeholders to reach out to each deserving unemployed youth and guide him properly to avail benefits under the scheme.
