DODA: The Social Welfare Department’s District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW) today organized an awareness programme at the Anganwadi Centre Akramabad (Doda). The event aimed at disseminating information about the women-centric schemes, while also commemorating Constitution Day.

During the programme, the DHEW team sensitized participants about multiple government initiatives dedicated to women’s empowerment—detailing their objectives, benefits, eligibility criteria and the procedure to avail these schemes. In observance of Constitution Day, the team also highlighted the significance of the Indian Constitution, the purpose of celebrating the day and the core constitutional values of justice, equality, liberty and fraternity.

To inspire and involve the younger generation, a painting competition on the theme of Constitution Day was also organized for children. The young participants showcased remarkable enthusiasm and creativity, expressing their understanding of constitutional values through vibrant artwork.
