JAMMU: The Bharatiya Janata Party Jammu District Mahila Morcha today organized an Introductory-cum-Monthly Meeting along with a Felicitation Programme at Jammu, aimed at further strengthening the organizational framework and enhancing coordination at the district level.
J&K BJP Vice President and Former Minister Priya Sethi, Mahila Morcha President Advocate Neha Mahajan District President Jammu Advocate Rajesh Gupta, MLA East Jammu Yudhvir Sethi, MLA West Jammu Arvind Gupta, Morcha General Secretary and Parliamentary Constituency Incharge, Urvashi Gupta, and other leaders of BJP Mahila Morcha were present in the meeting.
The meeting was organized under the leadership of Jammu District Mahila Morcha President Anuradha Sharma. During the meeting, the newly appointed District Prabhari Prernaa Nanda and Seh-Prabhari Shallu Gupta were formally felicitated by the senior leadership. Priya Sethi, addressing on the occasion, stressed the importance of women empowerment through political participation, awareness, and leadership, and called upon Mahila Morcha members to work with dedication and resolve.
Advocate Neha Mahajan highlighted the decisive role of Mahila Morcha in booth-level mobilization and organizational expansion. She exhorted the members to ensure effective last-mile delivery of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s women-centric welfare schemes and to strengthen the party’s connect with Matra Shakti.
Advocate Rajesh Gupta emphasized organizational unity, discipline and collective responsibility, underlining the vital role of Mahila Morcha in fortifying the party’s grassroots structure. Yudhvir Sethi highlighted the need for organizational discipline and coordinated efforts, motivating the Mahila Morcha team to work in close synergy with the district leadership.
Arvind Gupta appreciated the dedication and enthusiasm of Mahila Morcha workers and encouraged them to continue their sustained grassroots outreach for social welfare and holistic development. Urvashi Gupta briefed the gathering on organizational responsibilities and upcoming programmes, emphasizing teamwork and structured planning.
Prernaa Nanda, Vice President BJP Mahila Morcha and District Incharge, expressed gratitude to the party leadership for reposing faith in her and assured wholehearted dedication towards strengthening the organization. All Mandal Presidents of Jammu District Mahila Morcha, senior party leaders and Morcha activists were present. The proceedings and vote of thanks were conducted by Manu Bali and Ranju Sharma respectively.
