KATHUA: Veopar Mandal Mahanpur, under the leadership of Sarpanch Sonu Gupta, organized a one-day Multi-Specialty Free Medical Test Camp at the Veopar Mandal premises in Kathua on December 17, 2026. The camp witnessed an overwhelming response from the public, with more than 1,000 patients registering and availing free medical services.
Renowned specialists including Dr. Rajesh Gupta (MBBS, MD Medicine), Dr. Puneeta Gupta (MD Medicine), Dr. Neeraj Mahajan (MD Medicine, DNB Cardiology), and Dr. Shally Kandhari (MS Ophthalmology), an expert in sutureless and injection-free cataract surgery, rendered their valuable services during the camp.
A wide range of medical tests were conducted, including Fibroscan for liver screening, neuropathy tests, spirometry for lung function, blood investigations such as hemoglobin, thyroid, sugar, lipid profile, HbA1c, uric acid, bone mineral density tests, ECG, blood pressure checks, and free eye examinations.
Addressing the occasion, Sarpanch Sonu Gupta stated that Veopar Mandal Mahanpur has always remained at the forefront of social service and continues to work for the welfare of people from all sections of society. He emphasized that the free medical camp was organized especially to support the poor and needy as part of the organizationâs ongoing social service initiatives.
