JAMMU: Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, through MSME–Development Office, Jammu, organised a series of Entrepreneurship Awareness  Programmes (EAPs) at the Government Industrial Training Institutes across Rajouri  and Poonch districts to promote entrepreneurship and self-employment among youth.

The programmes were conducted at Government ITI, Sunderbani; Government ITI, Kalakote; Government ITI, Rajouri and Government ITI, Poonch in past one week. During the programmes, trainees were sensitised about opportunities in the MSME sector, government schemes, credit facilities, banking support and the procedure for setting up enterprises, including MSME registration.

Interactive sessions were also held to address queries of the participants and motivate them to consider entrepreneurship  as a sustainable career option. The Ministry of MSME remains committed to fostering entrepreneurship, preserving cultural heritage and contributing to the economic development of the region.
