DODA: Government Degree College (GDC) Kastigarh on Friday organised an awareness lecture on Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) here under the guidance of Principal Prof. Koshal Mangotra.
Nodal Officer (NMBA), Dr. Anupam Lata, delivered an informative lecture explaining how substance abuse leads to memory loss, decreased concentration, hormonal imbalance and serious mental health issues. She also apprised the students of various coping strategies to deal with stress and peer pressure in a positive and constructive manner.
The lecture was interactive and informative, encouraging students to make informed choices for a healthier life. Students including Neeraj Singh, Kavita Devi, Anu Devi, Neena Devi, Reelu Devi, Anshu Devi, Priya Devi, Amisha Devi and Neha Devi actively participated in the programme. The event concluded with a resolve to support the objectives of Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan and to contribute towards building a drug-free society.
