• Selected from 1,600 global submissions after evaluation by 1,300 experts

GURUGRAM: Masters’ Union, one of India’s leading business and technology schools has been awarded the Bronze Award for Innovation in Business Education at the QS Reimagine Education Awards 2025, a global platform that recognises institutions reshaping teaching, learning and employability. The honour places Masters’ Union among the top entries selected from 1,600 global submissions, following four stages of evaluation by more than 1,300 international experts.

The award was conferred in the category titled “Innovation in Business Education,” which recognizes a higher education institution that has revolutionized business education through a transformative reshaping of its curriculum. This year’s awards were organised by QS Quacquarelli Symonds with participation from leading universities and education innovators across North America, Europe and Asia.

Masters’ Union earned the recognition for its submission titled Innovation in Business Education, which focuses on addressing the dynamic needs of the business industry and traditional education where students have to build business to learn business. The submission demonstrated strong evidence of impact across applied learning, entrepreneurship outcomes and industry relevance, reinforcing the effectiveness of Masters’ Union’s practitioner-led and venture-based learning model.

At the core of Masters’ Union’s approach is an in-class experience delivered collaboratively by seasoned industry practitioners and academic faculty, complemented by an out-of-class environment where students learn by building and executing real-world projects. The school places a strong emphasis on entrepreneurship through initiatives such as the Dropshipping Challenge, the Creator Challenge and the Venture Initiation Program, which has already supported more than 50 funded startups.

This model is reflected in student outcomes, with recent cohorts recording an average CTC of Rs. 30 lakh and achieving 3x to 4x increases in pre-MBA salaries, underscoring its alignment with industry needs. The latest audited placement cycle reported an average annual compensation of Rs. 33.39 lakh, with the top 25% averaging Rs. 54.80 lakh and the highest package reaching Rs. 1.28 crore.

The school also secured 30 international placement offers across the US, Canada, UAE and Saudi Arabia, with an international average of Rs. 64 lakh and four offers crossing the Rs. 1-crore mark. Global recruiters included Meta, Careem, DP World, International Holding Company and Abdul Latif Jameel, alongside a strong domestic hiring cohort across consulting, product, finance and emerging tech roles.

Pratham Mittal, Founder of Masters’ Union, said, “This recognition from QS is deeply meaningful for us because it validates the core belief on which Masters’ Union was built that business education must be driven by practitioners, grounded in real-world execution, and constantly evolving with the pace of industry. At a time when the global landscape is shifting towards AI-native skills and entrepreneurial problem-solving, this award reaffirms that our model is not just innovative, but effective. It reflects the energy our students bring to building real ventures, the intent with which our faculty and industry leaders teach, and the collective ambition of the entire Masters’ Union community to redefine how business schools prepare talent for the future.”

The QS Reimagine Education Awards is a globally respected forum that recognises and celebrates pioneering innovations in higher education and edtech. Since its inception in 2016, the Awards have served as a platform for universities, business schools, and education-technology innovators worldwide to showcase transformative pedagogical models, technology-driven learning, and initiatives that improve student learning outcomes, employability, and sustainability. With nearly two decades of editions spanning 18 diverse award categories, the Awards draw global participation and rigorous evaluation by an international expert panel of academics, educators, industry leaders and investors.
