NEW DELHI: Councillor, Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Kargil, Advocate Riyaz Ahmad Khan, today called upon Advocate Tashi Gyalson, former Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor (CEC) LAHDC Leh, at Delhi and felicitated him by presenting a traditional shawl in recognition of his dedicated service for public welfare and developmental initiatives as CEC, of 6th LAHDC, Leh. 

During the meeting, Advocate Riyaz Ahmad Khan also expressed his sincere gratitude to Former CEC Adv. Tashi Gyalson and State President Sh. Tashi Gyaltson Kachu for thier proactive role and persistent follow-up with the central leadership, which led to the delegation of financial powers to the LG Ladakh for projects up to â‚č100 crore. He said the decision would greatly benefit both Leh and Kargil districts by ensuring faster approvals, timely execution of developmental projects, and improved administrative efficiency. 

Advocate Riyaz Ahmad Khan also appreciated both the leaders for thier consistent efforts in raising various other public issues of Ladakh with central leadership, which includes the initiative for resumption of dialogue to discuss Ladakh core issues, developmental initiatives, and welfare-related matters concerning the people of both districts. 

Advocate Riyaz Ahmad Khan stated that such collective efforts by senior leaders reflect BJP’s commitment to responsive governance and balanced development in the Union Territory of Ladakh and expressed hope that Ladakh will continue to witness accelerated growth and improved public service delivery in the coming times.
