NEW DELHI: The Centre for NaMo Studies (CNMS) will organise the Indian Schools Convention 2026 on Friday, 13 February 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The national-level education conclave is being organised in collaboration with Adhyayan Educational Trust & ANI Media and Educational World Networks, CNMS said in a statement.
The Convention will be held on the theme “Strengthening School Education for National Development under the National Education Policy (NEP)” and will bring together school principals, teachers, education administrators, policymakers, and education practitioners from across the country.
Prof. Jasim Mohammad, Chairman of CNMS said that the programme will be structured around four thematic sessions focusing on NEP implementation in schools, the role of Artificial Intelligence in education, contemporary challenges in school education, and leadership and governance at the school level.
Another key segment of the Convention will examine the position of CBSE, ICSC and NCERT in the current AI-driven education landscape, including curriculum relevance, digital preparedness, teacher training, and ethical use of technology in classrooms.
“School education is the foundation of national development. The National Education Policy provides a clear vision, but its real impact depends on how schools and educators implement it on the ground,” Prof Jasim Mohammad said.
Chief Advisor of Adhyayan Trust Prof Divya Tanwar that discussions will also include themes drawn from Pariksha Pe Charcha, with emphasis on student well-being, examination stress, teacher-student engagement, and parental roles in the learning ecosystem.
Co Convener Dr Daulat Ram that the Convention would serve as a platform for practical dialogue rather than symbolic discussion. “We want serious engagement on NEP, AI, and school leadership so that educators are better prepared for future challenges,”.
In addition to deliberative sessions, Adhyayan Educational Trust will present Best School Awards, Best School Franchise and Best Principal Awards to recognise institutions and school leaders for excellence, innovation, and alignment with the objectives of NEP.
CNMS has also invited schools, School Franchise group and principals to apply for participation and awards through an online Google Form and Offline Form, details of which are being circulated through official communication channels.
