JAMMU: A one day training programme for newly recruited Anganwadi Workers (Sanginis) was today organized by the office of the Deputy Director Poshan Jammu division under the direction of the Mission Director Poshan J&K.
The training programme encompassed the guidelines of Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 along with detailed orientation of the schemes implemented by the department including Face Recognition System (FRS), Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR) ID, SS app, Growth Monitoring/SAM/MAM, Aadhaar up-dation, eKYC and PMMVY Portal.
A group of 118 newly recruited Anganwadi Workers (Sanginis) hailing from district Jammu, Reasi, Samba & Udhampur participated in the training to prepare them for their future role in Anganwadi Centers.
Speaking on the occasion, Mission Director Poshan J&K, Sajad Hussain Ganai welcomed the new recruits to the department and exhorted them to keenly learn about the departmental schemes and policies and the implementation of the same in the field. He further asked the Anganwadi Workers (Sanginis) to act as a strong bridge between beneficiaries at the Anganwadi Centres and the department to facilitate full saturation of the schemes. The District Programme Officer Jammu also addressed the gathering, encouraging the participants to make the most of the training.
