SMVDU launches admission registration for Academic Session 2026–27

KATRA: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) officially launched its admission registration form for the academic session 2026–27 today. The launch was inaugurated by Professor Pragati Kumar, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, SMVDU.Addressing the gathering, Professor Pragati Kumar appreciated the proactive efforts of the University’s Admission Cell for initiating the admission process well in time. He emphasized the collective responsibility of faculty and staff to guide and support prospective students in making informed academic choices.

On the occasion, the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor also inaugurated the Admission Helpline Centre and the University’s Admission WhatsApp Channel to ensure prompt and transparent dissemination of admission-related information.Professor Kumar highlighted that all relevant details regarding admissions are available on the University’s officialwebsite: www.smvdu.ac.in.The event was attended by Professor Ashutosh, Dean, Faculty of Management; Professor Arti Maini, Head, School of Business; Professor Suparn Sharma; Professor Jyoti Sharma; Registrar Sh. Ajay Kumar; Finance Officer Ms. Kajal Jasrotia; Associate Dean, Academic Affairs, Dr. Shafaq Rasool; and Professor Sharada Potukuchi.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman of the Admission Cell, Professor Amit Kant Pandit, expressed his sincere gratitude to the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor and the University administration for their continued guidance and support. He also acknowledged the dedicated efforts of the Admission Cell team members, including Mr. Munish Singh, Mr. Deepankur Gupta, Mr. Rohit Uppal, Mr. Love Sharma, Mr. Gaurav Kumar, Mr. Jatinder Gupta, Mr. Amit Gupta, and Dr. Sushil Trisal, along with other members, for their contributions towards the successful launch of the admission process.
