SOPOREPolice in Sopore accorded a warm farewell to two officers SI Mohammad Ashraf and SI Riyaz Ahmad on their superannuation, marking the culmination of decades of dedicated and unblemished service to the Jammu and Kashmir Police.

SI Mohammad Ashraf retired after completing 37 years, while SI Riyaz Ahmad retired after 33 years of exemplary service. Both officers served the people with professionalism, compassion, and integrity, and were heading important desks at the District Police Office (DPO) Sopore prior to their retirement.

A farewell function was organised at the Conference Hall Sopore, where SSP Sopore Shri Iftkhar Talib, JKPS, along with other officers, lauded the retiring officers for their commitment, discipline, and valuable contributions to policing and public service. SSP Sopore expressed gratitude for their selfless service and wished them good health, peace, and fulfilment in their post-retirement life.

Police extend best wishes to both officers and acknowledge their lasting contribution to the organisation and the public they served.
