Police in Awantipora arrested drug peddler Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Shaksaz during a naka check at Cherso, recovering 48 grams of charas sticks, 40 grams of charas powder, and 315 grams of bhung chura; FIR No. 282026 was registered. In Pulwama, two gamblersâMohd Saleem Sheikh and Imtiyaz Ahmad Ganieâwere nabbed near Murran Marriage Hall, with Rs 9,000 stake money and playing cards seized; four others fled, FIR No. 132026 filed. Sopore police solved a cattle theft case (FIR No. 212026), arresting brothers Shakir Ahmad Dar and Aadil Ashraf Dar, recovering five heifer cows from Handwara.
